BEREA, Ohio – In Berea, a narrow, crescent-shaped 17.6-acre body of water within the Mill Stream Run Reservation hardly seems like a desirable destination in January.
Driving past it on Valley Parkway, you might not even notice it in winter, if it weren’t for the brightly colored ice shanties perched atop the frozen surface.
