SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — Police in Springfield Township arrested the owner of a motel earlier this week after investigators said he altered records and withheld information during an investigation into a reported abduction.
On Feb. 3, officers with the Springfield Township Police Department were dispatched to the Picton Parkway Industrial Park at approximately 10:24 p.m. after receiving a report that a woman was being held against her will, officials stated in a release.
The caller reported that the woman was in danger and being restrained by a man identified as Raymond Fox. Officers searched the industrial park but were initially unable to locate her. Attempts to recontact the caller for additional information were unsuccessful, police said…
