SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – The man whose badly decomposed body was found in late September in a wooded area in Akron has been identified, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner.
The man is 36-year-old Jacob Paul Weisgarber.
Weisgarber’s body was discovered in the woods near a parking lot at 1 Gojo Plaza in Akron.
In November of 2024, Weisgarber was sentenced to a year in prison after pleading guilty to resisting arrest, obstructing official business, aggravated menacing, and inducing panic for the September incident…
