AKRON, Ohio (WJW) — Federal investigators allege a man believed to be involved in bulk drug trafficking stored 68 pounds of illegal drugs and firearms in a conex box — commonly used as a shipping container — that was parked on an industrial property on Akron’s east side.
A federal affidavit by a U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations special agent alleges Ishmael Wahid used the box to store shipments of the narcotics, which he was involved in selling around Akron.
