MEDINA, Ohio — The 32nd annual Medina Ice Festival is taking place this weekend, bringing more than 120 ice carvings to the historic Public Square.
According to Main Street Medina, the four-day event runs Feb. 20-23 and is traditionally held the third weekend in February.

Ice sculptures will be displayed throughout the Square and South Town, with several featured events planned throughout the weekend.
Friday, Feb. 20
- Speed carving demonstrations at 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
- Fire & ice tower at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 21
- Individual ice carving competition from noon to 5 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 22
- Team ice carving competition from noon to 5 p.m.
Organizers say visitors can walk the downtown area to view the carvings, shop local businesses and dine at nearby restaurants…
