Lottery ticket picked by store clerk wins $40,000 a year for 25 years

Feb. 23 (UPI) — An Ohio woman bought a scratch-off lottery ticket selected for her by a store clerk and won a prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years.

The Lorain County woman told Ohio Lottery officials she visited the Saini Stores Sunoco on Akron Road North in Wadsworth and the store’s clerk encouraged her to buy a $30 Extreme Millions scratch-off ticket.

“Pick this one. It’s probably a winner,” the clerk told the woman.
