CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cuyahoga County is seeking a six-figure building official to lead its new building department next year.
The full-time position, which will serve as the county’s chief building official, is expected to pay between $120,000 and $150,000 depending on credentials and experience, according to county’s Director of Communications, Kelly Woodard.
Sixteen people have applied for the job so far, 11 of whom met minimum qualifications for interviews, Woodard said. The county has not yet posted the expected supporting roles for the department, such as a permit technician or building inspectors…
