‘Wholeheartedly apologize’: Maple Heights man sentenced in connection with deadly shooting at Bedford AutoZone

MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — Darien Hobley, a 22-year-old man from Maple Heights, was sentenced today to 8-10.5 years in prison in connection with a deadly shooting outside an AutoZone store in Bedford that killed Riley Jones, with whom he was in a relationship.

Hobley previously pleaded guilty on Feb. 2 to involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence, according to Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court records.
