CANTON – Township property owners along Canton’s borders will no longer be able to start or transfer city water and sewer services unless they agree to join the city first.
Canton City Council unanimously approved the requirement Feb. 23, passing an ordinance that ties new water and sewer service, including service transfers, to annexation into the city.
