MEDINA, Ohio – Each year, the Medina Athletic Boosters raise tens of thousands of dollars through memberships, sponsorships and fundraising to support athletic programs across the Medina City School District.
Representatives from the booster club went before the Medina Board of Education Feb. 25 to express an interest in deeper collaborations with the school district.
“We would like to be involved in part of different conversations,” said Ken Dworzik, vice president of sponsorship for Medina Athletic Boosters. “I think there are many different things we can do for our student athletes working as one group. Partnering with the school district and the board of education I think we have some good opportunities to make some things happen from a facilities standpoint.”…
