BEACH CITY, Ohio (WJW) — Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers in Canton are investigating a Thursday, Feb. 26, crash that caused three people to be thrown from an SUV.
It happened just before 4 p.m. on U.S. Route 250 in Sugarcreek Township, Stark County, according to a Friday, Feb. 27, news release from the patrol.

An SUV carrying four people was headed northwest on U.S. Route 250, while a pickup truck was headed southeast in the oncoming lane. The SUV went left-of-center and hit the truck head-on, according to the release.
Three of the four people inside the SUV were thrown from the vehicle. Firefighters had to remove the fourth person from the right-front passenger seat, according to the release. None of them were wearing seat belts, according to the patrol.
