Hudson City Schools will challenge the valuation of two local properties in hopes of boosting the tax obligations of the buildings’ owners. Board members unanimously approved resolutions authorizing the filing of complaints with the Summit County Board of Revision against the owners of 725 W. Streetsboro St. and 5778 Darrow Rd. – both of which sold in 2024 for significantly higher prices than their 2025 valuations.
Part of the Hudson Crossing Business Park, 725 W. Streetsboro St. houses Explorer Pediatric and Goldfish Swim School among other businesses. Summit County property records show that 725 W. Streetsboro Holdings LLC bought the property for $5.05 million in July 2024. Its 2025 appraised value, meanwhile, is listed at $3 million…
