An officer pulled over a driver at 12:49 a.m. Feb. 14 after witnessing the man drive the wrong way past a do-not-enter sign, and then back up to enter a hotel parking lot. During the stop, the driver reportedly produced a Bedford Heights auxiliary police officer badge. The Independence officer confirmed there was no record of the man ever being a police officer in Ohio, and Bedford Heights Police stated he did not work for them.
