Sting bringing ‘Sting 3.0′ to Akron this fall

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and legendary singer-songwriter-bassist Sting will continue his “Sting 3.0″ tour throughout North America, including a stop at E.J. Thomas Hall at the University of Akron on Sunday, November 1.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 6 at ticketmaster.com.

For fans, the Sting 3.0 tour, which sold out many shows across Europe and other countries last year, is a chance to see a stripped-down band featuring Sting on vocals and bass, longtime guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas. The bare-bones format means classic songs from Sting’s 17 Grammy-winning solo career and The Police will offer fans “new creative interpretations” of many of those classics…
