CLARKSVILLE, Ohio (WXIX) – Following a house fire that killed five children and a mother, the Clinton-Warren Joint Fire District says firefighters faced “extremely adverse” conditions, including electrical shock exposure.
Fire Chief Andrew Wysong said firefighters did everything they could to rescue a family from the flames and smoke Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, six people perished and one person was rescued and transported to the hospital.
The fire victims were identified as Brooke Gordon and her five children: Zayden, Hudson, Ashton, Bostyn and Tomlyn. The father of the kids, Tommy Allen Jr., is receiving treatment at Clinton Regional Hospital.
