The foreclosed-upon Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Jackson Township was purchased for $8 million by a limited liability company, according to the most recent real estate transfers filed with the Stark County Auditor’s Office.
The new owner has the same mailing address in New York City as Ladder Capital Corp. The corporation had filed for foreclosure, alleging it was owed more than $14.6 million on a 2019 loan.
