Independence city council to consider new restrictions for backyard gazebos, pavilions

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio (WOIO) – The Independence city council is set to meet Tuesday evening to further discuss plans to add new restrictions on certain outdoor builds in neighbor’s backyards.

The amendment to Ordinance 1143.02, first introduced last month, would target “recreational and ornamental structures” like pavilions and pergolas.
