Akron Man Charged With Fifth OVI After Traffic Stop on I-77

PIKE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (AVC News) — An Akron man is facing an operating a vehicle while impaired charge after being stopped on Interstate 77 earlier this year.

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol New Philadelphia Post stopped Richard A. Hahn for distracted driving around 1:27 a.m. on Feb. 15 in Pike Township.

According to troopers, Hahn showed signs of impairment during the stop and was subsequently arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired. Authorities said the charge represents his fifth OVI offense…
