‘There are no words for this one’: Bainbridge Township police detective dies unexpectedly after 23 years of service

BAINBRIDGE, Ohio — A detective with the Bainbridge Township Police Department who served the community for more than two decades has died unexpectedly, the department announced Saturday.

Detective Brian Frew died on Thursday due to a medical condition, according to a statement posted by Bainbridge Township police on its Facebook page. Frew had been with the department for 23 years.
