OHIO — A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for several parts of Ohio as snow and strong winds move into the region, creating hazardous travel conditions that could lead to school closures this week.
According to the National Weather Service, lake-effect snow and scattered snow showers are expected to continue through Monday night and into Tuesday. Some areas could receive between 1 and 4 inches of additional snowfall, with winds gusting as high as 35 to 45 mph.
The advisory affects parts of eastern and northeastern Ohio, including Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Jefferson, Belmont, Monroe, Mahoning, Trumbull, Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties…
