COMPASS Program gives second chances to at-risk men offenders

AKRON, Ohio — There are more than 40,000 men in Ohio’s prisons, according to state data.

A first of its kind program in the Buckeye State is giving Akron’s most at-risk male offenders a second chance to live a better life. Graduates of the program are choosing progress over prison.
