Eighteen fourth-grade students represented Medina City Schools at the annual County 24 Tournament at the Cloverleaf Recreation Center, showcasing strong mental math skills and competitive spirit.
The students earned their spots at the county competition after emerging as top performers during the district’s 24 Club runoff tournament held two weeks earlier. The 24 game challenges students to use four numbers on a card to reach the total of 24 by adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing as quickly and accurately as possible, helping develop quick-thinking strategies and strengthen mental math abilities.
