AKRON, Ohio (WKRC) – A man was convicted of rape after two minors gained entry into an Ohio strip club, and were told they would be “safe.”
According to a statement issued by Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich, 36-year-old Javid Ruiz of Akron has been found guilty of raping a child in 2025.
Prosecutors said the incident occurred in April 2025, when two teenage girls under 18 entered Dreamer’s Cabaret in Akron after attempting to gain access to bars. Inside the club, a woman they did not know purchased drinks for them and introduced them to Ruiz and another man, telling the girls they would be “safe with them.”…
