NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio — City Council, in rejecting a plan to build an assisted living center at the northeast corner of West 130th Street and Bennett Road, was influenced by residents living near the site.
Residents opposed the plan, proposed by Chicago developer Vermillion Development, both directly to the city’s Planning Commission and in letters to council.
Most if not all of the residents live a stone’s throw northeast or east of the proposed site for the assisted living center. The site is just north of Boston Road…
