Akron man gets $3 million bond in killings of mother and 12-year-old son

AKRON, Ohio – A Summit County judge set bond at $3 million Thursday for an Akron man charged with fatally shooting a mother and her 12-year-old son following a parking dispute.

Brandon T. Casto, 28, faces two counts of aggravated murder and two counts of felonious assault in the deaths of Tania Mangual, 47, and her son Jericho Mangual. Casto was extradited back to Summit County on Wednesday from Southeast Regional Jail in Nelsonville after surrendering to authorities in Meigs County.
