Gas prices drop 12 cents in Akron, 4 cents in Cleveland: GasBuddy says prices ‘are poised for another jolt this week’ in areas like the Great Lakes

AKRON, Ohio — Gas prices have dropped in Northeast Ohio within the last week.

Drivers in Akron are now paying an average of $3.73 per gallon after prices went down 12.5 cents compared to last week, according to new data released by GasBuddy early Monday.

Cleveland’s average has now dipped to $3.79 after going down 4.8 cents in the last week. Despite the slight decline, Cleveland’s prices are 42.1 cents higher than a month ago and 66.1 cents more than a year ago…
