Vendors left scrambling after Painted Tree announces sudden nationwide closures

DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) – Vendors nationwide are clearing out their booths at Painted Tree, a flea-market-style boutique chain that had more than 60 locations, including Crestview Hills and here in Deerfield Township.

Vendors said they received an email Tuesday stating all stores were closing immediately and they had to remove their inventory within the next 10 days, despite some saying they are owed thousands in rent and sales.
