FirstEnergy reports thousands of power outages in Greater Cleveland, Akron following severe storms: See the latest reports

CLEVELAND — Wednesday’s severe storms, which included damage caused by hail strikes, has caused thousands of FirstEnergy customers to be without power across Northeast Ohio.

According to FirstEnergy, as of 8 p.m., there are a total of 14,683 outages across Ohio. Here are the latest totals by county as of 8 p.m.

  • Summit – 5,864
  • Cuyahoga – 4,139
  • Trumbull – 2,082
  • Portage – 1,735
