MACEDONIA, Ohio – Recent law enforcement activity in Macedonia was highlighted by a felony drug arrest following a traffic stop, a disturbance at a local restaurant drive-thru, and multiple retail theft investigations.
Traffic Stop Leads to Felony Drug Charges
On March 31, 2026, a patrol officer initiated a traffic stop on Freeway Drive after observing a vehicle change lanes without signaling for the required distance on SR-82. The driver admitted he did not have a valid license, and a subsequent records check revealed multiple active warrants and license suspensions, including failure to reinstate. During a search incident to arrest, officers discovered a cut straw with residue, and an administrative inventory of the vehicle uncovered a dollar-bill bindle containing a white powdery substance, burnt foil, and three blue pills. The pills were identified as Oxycodone, a Schedule II controlled substance. The driver was charged with felony drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and several traffic offenses.
