MASSILLON – The city has made a move toward establishing new guidelines for data center businesses interested in building within the city.
Funding to hire an outside attorney — Terry Seeberger — was approved April 20 by City Council, allowing him to formulate and present zoning recommendations regarding data centers for eventual review.
A resolution authorizing $15,000 from the city’s professional services fund to pay Seeberger was passed 9-0 by council during its regular meeting. There was no discussion as members talked about the potential hire at previous work sessions…
