FAIRLAWN — Fairlawn Lutheran Church and School marked a major milestone May 3 with the groundbreaking of a new K-5 school. This nearly $10 million project is being made possible by the generosity of the congregation, according to church officials, and reflects a strong commitment to Christian education and to serving families in the community.
Following the 10 a.m. worship service, a crowd of parishioners and community leaders gathered outside for the official groundbreaking ceremony followed by refreshments and pastries in the church where attendees could view renderings of the new building.
