St. Hilary students compete in geography bee

FAIRLAWN — St. Hilary School held its school geography bee April 29, organized by eighth grade teacher Max Sherry to enable students in grades five through eight to continue to learn about geography and participate in this traditional academic competition. National Geographic has permanently discontinued its GeoBee.

Eighteen students qualified at the classroom level to compete in the bee. Eighth grader Chris Regula and seventh grader Lucas Carvalho were co-champions in the competition.
