Medina takes ownerless land for Huntington Street Bridge project

MEDINA, Ohio — Medina City Council approved emergency legislation Monday to acquire a small piece of “ownerless” land hidden beneath the Huntington Street Bridge so the city can move forward with a planned bridge replacement project.

Council passed Ordinance 73-26 during a special meeting, declaring it necessary to appropriate a section of property along Champion Creek for the municipal bridge project.
