NEW SCOTLAND — After a decade of grant applications, contractor headaches, and incremental progress, New Scotland has tentative plans to cut the ribbon on Hilton Park and the relocated Hilton Barn in early July, town board members said at their June 10 meeting.
The event is tentatively set for Thursday, July 2, at 2 p.m.
“We’ve been talking about this for a month — or several months,” said Councilman William Hennessy, the board’s liaison on the project. “We’re efforting to get this done before the July 4th weekend.”…
