LIVINGSTON — New York State Police are investigating a crash involving a patrol vehicle on county Route 31 near Hill Road in Livingston, Columbia County.
A Lexus SUV, driven by a 72-year-old from New Jersey, crossed into the patrol car’s lane around 6:27 p.m. Friday, State Police said in a news release Saturday. The officer attempted to veer onto the shoulder but could not avoid the collision.
