Shoppers in Saratoga County will soon have another place to hunt for bargains, as Goodwill is getting ready to open its newest Capital Region location.
Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey is moving into Clifton Park’s Village Plaza, taking over the former Joann Fabrics space. The craft retailer closed in 2025, leaving a large vacancy in the busy shopping center.
Where Is The New Goodwill?
The new Goodwill will be located at 19 Clifton Country Road in Clifton Park. The 6,000-square-foot store is expected to open in mid-July and will also feature a donation center where residents can drop off gently used items.
Customers can expect to find clothing, accessories, home goods, and other secondhand treasures. Company leaders say Clifton Park is a great fit for the organization because of its strong community atmosphere and active retail scene.
