Gemelli’s is owned by Angelo and Anna Daga and family. Angelo Daga said the name “Gemelli” means “twins” in Italian. The name was inspired by his twin sons.

“I grew up in a family deeply connected to Albany’s pizza culture and spent years learning from my family, including my Nonno, Nonna, and uncles,” Angelo Daga told NEWS10. “While Gemelli’s is my first restaurant ownership venture, pizza has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.”
