Schenectady block party to celebrate Juneteenth, BIPOC businesses

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A community block party will take place in Schenectady to celebrate Juneteenth and Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC)-owned businesses. The SchenEquity Community Connects Block Party will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.

Presented by SchenEquity, the event will take place at 530 Liberty St. The free, family-friendly celebration will bring together residents, community organizations, performers and entrepreneurs for an afternoon centered around connection, culture and community empowerment.
