State’s downtown revitalization program awards another round of $10 million to upstate cities

When New York state’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative was first rolled out in 2016, Jamestown was one of the first to receive a $10 million grant to fund a number of projects throughout the city.

“They’re just getting started, and they needed a little more help to help them finish the vision,” said Gov. Kathy Hochul.
