ALBANY, N.Y. (WTEN) — In the wake of the tragic death of seven-year-old Harbe Nagi, a program helping to locate missing people with neurodivergence or Alzheimer’s is gaining more attention.

It’s called Project Lifesaver, and it’s readily available through law enforcement for families of people with neurodivergence.
Lisa Audi, the founder and executive director of resource group Bring On The Spectrum in Albany, explained what the the program provides.
“It’s a tracking device, something that an individual with autism or even Alzheimer’s can physically wear,” she said. “It’s a bracelet. So it can go on the wrist, it can go on the ankle.”

The tracker is about the size of a watch, and allows law enforcement to recieve a radio frequency, locating the individual wearing it if they’re lost…
