State Police arrest Brunswick armed robbery suspect

BRUNSWICK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — New York State Police issued a public safety alert on Friday amid a robbery investigation in Brunswick. Detectives determined that a person allegedly brandished a bladed weapon during a robbery at the Walmart located at 760 Hoosick Road just after 9:30 a.m.

State Police confirmed that the suspect was taken into custody around 11:50 a.m., and that there’s no further threat to the public. NYSP reported that aviation and K9 units were utilized during search operation.
