ALTAMONT, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A day filled with local food, live music, and craft beverages from across New York State is returning to Altamont on July 18. The Farming Man Festival is back from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Indian Ladder Farms.
Farming Man began over 10 years ago as an opportunity for brewers and cidermakers to share their products and exchange ideas. It is now an annual celebration that is open to everyone.

“One of the things that makes Farming Man different is that you actually get to spend time with the people behind the beverages,” Indian Ladder Farms Cidery & Brewery Co-owner Dieter Gehring said. “Instead of standing behind a pouring table all day, our brewers and cider makers are out in the crowd, talking with guests, answering questions, and sharing the stories behind what they create. That’s what this festival has always been about.”
Confirmed craft beverage producers include Brooklyn Cider House, Paradox Brewery, Seven Points Brewery, The Warbler Brewery, Upper Depot Brewing Company and Whitman Brewing. Additional breweries and cideries from across the state are also expected to participate…
