ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) — Albany Police have identified the woman they said was shot and killed in her vehicle early Sunday morning.
According to police, officers responded around 1:25 p.m. Sunday, July 5, to Washington Avenue near Sprague Place for reports of a shooting. Police said they found 39-year-old Iris Vazquez of Schenectady with at least one gunshot wound to her chest.
The Albany Fire Department and emergency medical personnel treated Vazquez at the scene, according to police. She was pronounced dead there…
