VOORHEESVILLE — Blackbirds Tavern, the flagship of Ed Mitzen’s multi-year effort to remake a corner of his hometown, was listed for sale on Wednesday, for $1.695 million.
The sale comes two years after the restaurant opened and four years after Mitzen scooped up the corner for less than half that, and appears to align with what reads as a broader strategy to unburden himself of real estate associated with his not-for-profit organization, Business for Good.
