Albany man charged with abandoning 2 cats at MHHS

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- A City of Albany man was arrested after two cats were left outside the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society (MHHS), according to Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple.

Apple said sheriff’s investigators arrested 50-year-old Marshon Odell Harris on July 10 after reviewing surveillance from the humane society in Menands.

According to Apple, cameras captured Harris on July 9 arriving at the shelter, leaving the two cats on the property and driving away without notifying shelter workers or making sure the animals were safely received…
