Another bout of high heat predicted in Albany, Hudson Valley next week

Hotter-than-normal temperatures could hit the Capital Region and parts of the Hudson Valley next week as a heat wave bears down on much of the country.

Meteorologists are increasingly confident that residents in the Albany area will experience above-normal temperatures Monday through Wednesday, with temperatures possibly reaching the mid- to lower 90s, according to the National Weather Service in Albany. Temperatures have the highest chance of reaching or rising above 90 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday for much of eastern New York.
