Capital Region thrift crawl returns on July 25

(NEWS10) – More than a dozen locally-owned thrift, vintage, and consignment shops across five counties are teaming up for an annual thrift crawl. Thrifty Connections, a creative arts studio and thrift store in Schenectady, is behind the day dedicated to all things thrifty.

The free community event takes place on Saturday, July 25. This year stores located in five counties are participating, including Schenectady, Saratoga, Albany, Rensselaer & Montgomery counties. For the full list, visit the event website.

On the day of the event, pick up a crawl card at any participating location. Collect a stamp at each stop, and turn in your completed card at your final shop of the day for the chance to win a prize. You don’t have to visit every shop to qualify.

Each location will be offering special discounts and markdowns as part of the crawl. Now in its second year, this thrifting adventure is a chance to bag great finds, discover new stores, and give local small businesses a chance to shine.
