EASTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A 40-year-old man has been arrested in Washington County on multiple illegal weapon charges. Evan Giroux was arrested on Tuesday in the Town of Easton following an investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s and the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

His arrest came after a search warrant was executed on Grove Road. During the search, illegal firearms were recovered, including an assault rifle, large capacity magazines and an explosive device.
Giroux was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree and 20 counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.
He was processed and arraigned at Centralized Arraignment. Giroux was released on bail and will appear in the Town of Easton Court at a later date.
