SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– Solstice Kitchen, located at 515 State Street, held their grand opening celebration on Thursday. According to the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation, the restaurant is bringing bold flare to the Electric City.

“From the moment you walk through the door, it’s clear that Solstice Kitchen is something unique and special,”‘ DSIC Executive Director Maureen Neufeld said. “The beautifully designed space, exceptional food, and the experience of its owners have created a destination that is already proving to be a wonderful addition to Downtown Schenectady.”
The restaurant, operated by Brian Van Vranken and Laura Loverro, is located in the former Novel Biblio Brew spot and offers a variety of dishes from salads to burgers to tacos, to gelato and more. The two also own and operate Maxon’s Grill in Glenville.
