An upper level low will lead to continued unsettled weather through Thursday …but in the near term bring the risk for flash flooding tonight and tomorrow.
Expect on/off rain and thunder this evening and overnight with potential poor drainage and urban flooding and ponding of water in roads. A flash flood watch remains up over portions of the area but all locations should be on alert, especially during times of heavy rainfall.
Rainfall amounts tonight through the next couple of days will still add up to around 1″-3″+ for the region as a whole, the higher amounts being to the east. A flood watch will remain up over parts of the area through Wednesday evening…
